Energy grid management software provider AutoGrid Systems has raised $12.75m in series C financing from investors included Germany-based energy utility E.ON, looking to deploy its big data analytics in making energy cleaner.

AutoGrid Systems, a US-based provider of energy grid management software, has raised $12.75m in series C financing from investors included Germany-based energy utility E.ON, and previous investors, venture capital firms Foundation Capital and Voyager Capital.

In October 2012, AutoGrid Systems raised $9m from Foundation Capital and Voyager Capital and Stanford University.
