Ideation Studio@UH will welcome an initial cohort of four to five participants and will offer up to $25,000 in milestone-based seed funding.

University of Hawaii is launching an incubator programme dubbed Ideation Studio@UH to support ventures across its 10 campuses, according to Hawaii Tech.

The initiative was created by tech transfer arm UH Office of Innovation and Commercialization, and it will begin taking applications for its inaugural cohort – to consist of four to five participants – next week.

The incubator will offer $50,000 of in-kind operational support on top of up to $25,000 in milestone-based seed funding, in addition to typical incubator offerings such as networking events and support in grant applications.
