Every day, Global University Venturing rounds up investments from across the university innovation ecosystem in its deal net.
CarboNet, a Canada-based oilfield wastewater treatment technology developer spun out of University of British Columbia (UBC), has raised C$6m from undisclosed investors, according to the newsletter of UBC’s entrepreneurship hub. Further details could not be ascertained. CarboNet previously obtained C$5.5m ($4.1m) in seed financing from private investors in March 2019.
