Former Microsoft Windows president Steven Sinofsky joins venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.
Steven Sinofsky, former Microsoft executive, has joined venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) as a part-time board partner, in which capacity he will represent the firm on certain boards of companies in which it invests.
Sinofsky resigned from Microsoft in November 2012, shortly following the launch of Windows 8, a product with which he was closely involved as president of Microsoft’s Windows division.
