Shervin Pishevar, a partner at venture capital firm Menlo Ventures, and Scott Stanford, a banker at investment bank Goldman Sachs, plan to launch Sherpa, news provider Fortune said.

Two technology investors are reportedly to start an accelerator to gain corporate venturing backing to fund its entrepreneurs and provide other support to them.

Shervin Pishevar, a partner at venture capital firm Menlo Ventures, and Scott Stanford, a banker at investment bank Goldman Sachs, plan to launch Sherpa, news provider Fortune said.

Pishevar will remain as a venture adviser with Menlo, where he had been responsible for launching the firm’s seed-stage investing programme.
