Human API, a developer of health data management software, secured $20m in a series C round led by Samsung Ventures that included Allianz, Scor, CNO Financial and Guardian Life.

Samsung Ventures, a corporate venturing subsidiary of consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung, has led a series C round for US-based healthcare data management platform Human API sized above $20m, VentureBeat reported yesterday.

Insurance providers Allianz, Scor Global, CNO Financial Group and Guardian Life also took part in the round – the first two through Allianz Life Ventures and Scor Life and Health Ventures – along with venture capital firms BlueRun Ventures and Moneta VC.
