Interset, the creator of an intellectual property protection platform, raised the cash from backers including software provider Informatica.

Canada-based cybersecurity company Interset closed a $10m funding round today featuring data integration software producer Informatica.

The round was led by venture capital firm Toba Capital and included private equity firm Telesystem and VC firm Anthem Venture Partners, both of which participated as existing investors.

Interset has created an advanced threat detection platform that helps protect companies operating in intellectual property-driven sectors such as manufacturing, defence, technology, energy and pharmaceuticals from targeted cyberattacks and data breaches.
