VenueNext, the US-based developer of a set of software tools to aid venue management, secured $9m yesterday in a series A round featuring several corporate investors.

Network technology provider Aruba Networks, live events promoter Live Nation Entertainment and Twitter Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of social network Twitter, were joined in the round by venture capital firm Causeway Media Partners and undisclosed additional strategic investors.
