US-based OneRoof Energy, backed by Hanwha International, raises $2.5m in equity, in convertible promissory notes and warrants.

Black Coral Capital backed OneRoof Energy, a residential solar-panel leasing company, has raised $2.5m in equity, convertible promissory notes and warrants, according to a filing. Black Coral Capital has invested $53m in the company, according to an April VentureWire article.

Investment and advisory firm Alternegy Holdings LLC is represented on the firm’s board.

Black Coral invested $3m in Oneroof in April this year. The company is also backed by by Hanwha International, part of the South Korea-based Hanwha group.…
