Hina Dixit, formerly a partner at M12 and head of AI investments at Samsung Next, is co-founding a startup still in stealth mode.
Hina Dixit has departed from her partner role at M12, the corporate venture capital arm of US software producer Microsoft.
While Dixit did not disclose her next steps, her LinkedIn profile shows she has co-founded an artificial intelligence startup operating in stealth.
Formed in 2016, M12 targets early-stage companies in areas including AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, developer tools, software-as-a-service, web3 and gaming. The unit is led by Michelle Gonzalez, corporate vice president and global head who is a GCV Powerlist mainstay.
M12 hired Dixit in July 2023 and she focused on AI-driven infrastructure and gaming technology developers. During her time there, she served as a board observer at an M12 portfolio company, operational data aggregation platform Incorta.
Before that, Dixit headed AI investments at Samsung Next, an investment arm of South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung, for nearly two years from 2022. She led over a dozen deals in AI infrastructure, web3, gaming, fintech and metaverse.
