Venture capital firm Spark Capital has appointed John Melas-Kyriazi, most recently the CFO of StartX, as one of its investors.

US-based venture capital firm Spark Capital has announced that John Melas-Kyriazi will join its Boston branch as an early-stage technology investor.

Melas-Kyriazi’s background is in science. He announced the change on his Tumblr blog after spending two years as chief financial officer at US-based start-up accelerator programme StartX, an affiliate of Stanford University where he will remain an advisor.
