CMU spin out ATRP Solutions lands $2.6m from the National Science Foundation for cosmetics.

ATRP Solutions, a US-based spin out of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) has been awarded $2.6m in federal grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The investment, awarded in the form of a Phase IIB SBIR and a new Phase I SBIR award, will be used to commercialise technology that could be used to make it easier to produce cheaper cosmetics, such as shampoo and other care products.
