Seed-stage investor The Motley Fool returned to back the prepared meal delivery service's series A round, which took its total funding to about $12m.

US-based prepared meal delivery service Territory has received $6.7m in series A funding from investors including financial media company The Motley Fool Holdings.

Venture capital firm NRV led the round, which also featured Lewis & Clark Ventures and Upfront Ventures. It follows a $5m seed round in February 2016 that was led by Upfront and backed by The Motley Fool and assorted angel investors.
