Seed accelerator SunBridge Global Ventures has invested in US-based Language Cloud through the SunBridge Startups programme.
Japan-based SunBridge Global Ventures, a venture capital firm spun off from local education group Sunbridge in January 2012, has invested in Language Cloud, which develops learning management system for language schools. There was also involvement from venture capital firm Digital Garage and early-stage seed fund and incubator 500 Startups, as reported on venturenews.
The new funds will be used to expand into markets which include the US.
SunBridge Startups were also involved in Language Cloud’s seed round.
