The classmates reunion online network, which has accumulated seven million users since its beta launch last year, has raised $1.75m in seed capital, with SK Telecom among the backers.

SchoolFeed, a US-based company offering a similar nostalgia-focused network to Friends Reunited and Classmates, secured 1.75m in seed funding on Wednesday in a round led by venture capital (VC) firm First Round Capital, with participation from Korea-based telecommunications conglomerate SK Telecom.

VC firms Interwest Partners and CrossLink Capital also contributed to the round. Charles River Ventures and XG Ventures were named as previous backers, together with several angels, though their investments were not disclosed.
