Social game developer Singularity 6 has raised $16.5m from investors including FunPlus Ventures as it continues work on its first title.

US-based video game studio Singularity 6 emerged from stealth on Tuesday with $16.5m in funding from investors including FunPlus Ventures, the investment arm of interactive entertainment producer FunPlus, VentureBeat reported.

Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz led the series A round, which also featured London Venture Partners, the seed-stage fund that had supplied $2.5m in seed capital for the startup in September 2018.
