Redbee has launched Venturebees with a $630,000 investment to back fintech, insurtech, marketing and digital media startups in Argentina.

Argentina-based software development services provider Redbee has announced a corporate venturing unit called Venturebees that it has equipped with a AR$27m ($630,000) cornerstone investment, iProUp has reported.

Venturebees will target seed and early-stage startups operating in the financial technology, insurance technology, marketing and digital media sectors. It has already identified 39 projects to support, with plans to finalise three of them through proposals by the end of 2019.
