Internet of things technology developer Sirqul has received $3m from China-based Miteno's US subsidiary to close its series A round at $9m.
Communications technology provider Beijing Miteno Communication Technology has invested $3m in US-based internet of things (IoT) technology developer Sirqul, increasing its series A round to $9m in the process.
Angel investors including Rudy Gadre, Owen Van Natta, Ray Chen, Tripp Blair, Xiang Gao and Rick Dalzell provided the first tranche of the round in November 2015. China-based Miteno made the investment through its Miteno USA subsidiary.
