HTC Vive, the virtual reality (VR) arm of Taiwan-based smartphone producer HTC, has launched a $10m funding initiative entitled VR for Impact that will support the development of impactful VR content.

VR for Impact aims to showcase how VR content and technology can be used to achieve positive societal impact in support of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, which involve ending poverty, protecting the planet, peace and prosperity.
