HealthCare.com mends $18m series B

Axis Capital and CNO Financial Group invested in health insurance portal Healthcare.com’s second funding round, proceeds of which will support product development and other growth objectives.

US-based health insurance portal HealthCare.com has received $18m in a series B round led by Second Alpha Partners that featured insurance group Axis Capital and financial services firm CNO Financial Group.

Founded in 2014, HealthCare.com has built an online portal where customers can compare healthcare insurance plans from more than 13,000 providers and receive recommendations tailored to their budget, preferences and health requirements.
