Sinar Mas and AirAsia have backed the communication platform's global expansion plans by joining its series B round.
Thailand-based mobile collaboration platform Eko has raised $20m in a series B round led by SMDV, the corporate venturing arm of conglomerate Sinar Mas.
The round also included Redbeat Ventures, the digital investment arm of airline operator AirAsia, venture capital firms Gobi Partners and East Ventures, and unnamed, existing investors.
Founded in 2012, Eko has developed a platform which allows management teams to collaborate and communicate with their staff through a mobile app.
