Invenergy Future Fund-backed drone data analysis software developer DroneDeploy attracted a consortium led by Bessemer Venture Partners to push its funding total to $90m.

DroneDeploy, a US-based developer of a data analytics platform for drones backed by energy company Invenergy, closed a $35m series D round on Wednesday led by venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners.

The deal also included venture capital fund Energize Ventures and VC firms AirTree Ventures, Emergence Capital, Scale Venture Partners and Uncork Capital.

Founded in 2013, DroneDeploy provides software used by industry clients to analyse information collected from drones and aerial sources.
