One of GCV's 2019 Rising Stars, Andrea Course, has left her venture principal position at Schlumberger to take on the same role at Shell Ventures.

Andrea Course left US-based oil and gas services provider Schlumberger last month to join Shell Ventures, petroleum producer Shell’s corporate venturing vehicle, as a venture principal.

Course had spent approximately 18 months in the same position at Schlumberger and was named one of Global Corporate Venturing Rising Stars in January 2019, three months prior to her departure.
