CompuCredit, a Nasdaq-listed financing company, has agreed to provide an undisclosed sum to US-based Twitpay.

Twitpay provides payment software for social media platforms and also added venture capital firm TomorrowVentures to its investor consortium alongside CompuCredit, which spun off its micro-payments units in the UK and US in mid-2009.

Twitpay’s software helps non-profit organisations raise funds over Twitter, social gaming developers offer virtual currency and retailers with electronic commerce.
