Take-Two Interactive has led Proletariat's latest round, which will support the progress of the multiplayer game studio's next title.

US-based multi-player game developer Proletariat has closed a $20m series C round led by video game producer Take-Two Interactive Software.

Venture capital firms Spark Capital and FirstMark Capital also participated in the round, having already contributed to a $6m series A round together with Atlas Venture in 2015. Undisclosed investors had supplied $2.25m in seed funding for the company in 2013.
