SoftBank has led the ERP software provider’s pre-IPO round, with proceeds to be used for customer base expansion, recruitment, strategic acquisitions and product diversification.

Telecommunications and internet group SoftBank has led a R$580m ($111m) series C round for Brazil-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology developer Omie, Reuters has reported.

Bogari Capital, Brasil Capital, Dynamo, Endeavor Catalyst, Hix Capital, Riverwood Capital and Velt filled out the round. Marcelo Lombardo, CEO and co-founder of Omie, told NeoFeed the deal is expected to precede an initial public offering.
