The venture firm hired new director Asif Giga, who has worked at corporate VC units Ericsson Ventures, Experian Ventures and Singtel Innov8 Ventures.
Asif Giga has departed from his investment director role at Ericsson Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Sweden-based communications equipment manufacturer Ericsson, and joined venture capital and growth equity firm ClearSky.
Ericsson Ventures had hired Giga in 2018 and tasked him with investing in areas strategic for its parent firm, including networking systems, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, augmented and virtual reality technology.
