Marta Pinho is an investment manager at Amadeus Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Spain-based travel software and technology services provider Amadeus IT Group.
Suzanna Chiu, head of Amadeus Ventures, said: “Marta Pinho continues to build her exposure to be a leading figure in the Amadeus Ventures team. She has been responsible for all the transactions’ negotiation and execution in the past 12 months – including follow-ons and exits.
“Marta has grown her credibility with internal stakeholders in securing supports on strategic investments and getting buy in from governance organisations. She has developed deep expertise and relationships into our hospitality and payment business units and is expanding her coverage to mobility.”
Pinho’s responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities and focusing on the management of the unit’s portfolio companies.
Regarding her role at Amadeus Ventures, Pinho said: “My role as an investment manager allows me to be exposed, on a daily basis, to brilliant entrepreneurs that work on the latest technologies to improve the way we travel.

Prior to joining Amadeus Ventures in October 2018, Pinho was a senior manager at online car advertising platform AutoScout24 for two years. She previously worked as global development and strategy manager for daily deals platform operator Global Savings Group and investment manager for venture capital firm Portugal Ventures.
