Top 50 Emerging Leaders 2022 (in alphabetical order by CVC unit): Ladi Greenstreet, head of UK and Ireland, Accenture Ventures

Ladi Greenstreet is head of the United Kingdom and Ireland for Accenture Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Ireland-headquartered professional services firm Accenture. He has held this position since mid-2019, after four years at the unit in various roles.

Accenture initially hired Greenstreet in 2011 as a UK-based management consultant to oversee digital strategy, analytics and technology transformation, before transferring him to the US for a one-year stint at the Fjord design division for the firm’s digital marketing arm, Accenture Interactive, in 2014.

Greenstreet joined Accenture Ventures the following year as US-based head of healthcare, to develop and implement market strategies for the unit’s health and public service group, also leading digital health efforts and backing growth-stage enterprise technology developers.

On behalf of Accenture Ventures, Greenstreet partnered startups focusing on areas including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cybersecurity and augmented and virtual reality technology.

Accenture Ventures’ UK-based portfolio companies include data analytics software developer Quantexa, human resources software developer Beamery, cybersecurity technology developer Ripjar while TradeIX, the creator of a distributed ledger platform for use in global trade, is among the Ireland-headquartered companies that have received backing from the corporate.

Prior to Accenture, Greenstreet held a marketing role at consumer goods producer Procter&Gamble, where he helped develop a social engagement strategy on social media and analysed sales data.

Greenstreet, who holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Nottingham, is concurrently chief executive of non-profit partnership Diversity VC, which helps increase diversity and inclusion in the venture industry.
