Cambridge has a plan to boost outside investment in order to expand its technology ecosystem.

Cambridge has a well-established tech ecosystem — the world’s highest concentration of academic entrepreneurs and more than 23 companies with an exited value of at least $1bn.

But it wants to expand further by multiplying venture capital investment in its tech ecosystem by five times over the next 10 to 15 years.

Diarmuid O’Brien, CEO of Cambridge Enterprise, the University of Cambridge’s technology transfer office, explains how it plans to bring in more outside investment.
