AOL-owned fund BBG Ventures has contributed to a round for premium recipe delivery service Din, which recently expanded from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

US-based recipe subscription service Din has raised $3m in seed funding from six investors, including BBG Ventures, a corporate venturing subsidiary of mass media company AOL.

The other investors in the round were Accel Partners, Collaborative Fund, Harrison Metal, Slow Ventures and Lowercase Capital.

Founded in 2014 as Forage, Din deconstructs recipes supplied by prominent San Francisco restaurants and chefs with which it partners, and delivers them to customers as meal kits that can be cooked in less than 20…
