The unit has hired EquityZen co-founder Shriram Bhashyam as its latest entrepreneur in residence in order to coach employees developing financial technology.

Shriram Bhashyam, the co-founder of online share-trading marketplace EquityZen, has taken an entrepreneur-in-residence position at Citi Ventures, the strategic investment arm of US-based financial services firm Citi.

Bhashyam was head of business development and general counsel for EquityZen from its formation in 2013 until April 2018 when he moved to chief strategy officer, before taking on an advisory role in March this year.
