The developer of business communications platform Alcatraz has attracted $28m in new funding from investors including Credit Suisse.

Actiance, the US-based developer of a platform for secured communications within businesses, raised $28m yesterday from investors including financial services firm Credit Suisse’s corporate venturing arm, Credit Suisse Next Investors.

Golub Capital, JK&B Capital, Scale Venture Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures also participated in the round.

Actiance provides a cloud-based communication, collaboration and social media governance service called Alcatraz that enables real-time content monitoring, centralised policy management and archiving. It can be integrated with more than 72 platforms including Twitter,…
