Commerce Bank has established a strategic partnership with fintech fund SixThirty that will give it the chance to invest in the latter's portfolio companies.

US-based financial services firm Commerce Bank has formed a strategic partnership with financial technology-focused venture capital fund SixThirty.

Commerce Bank will supply training and mentorship for participants in SixThirty’s business development scheme while also getting the chance to invest in startups unearthed by the fund.

Bob Holmes, chairman and CEO for Commerce Bank in the St Louis region, is part of SixThirty’s investment committee along with chief information officer Dave Roller.
