Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and consulting firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) broken ground on the TCS Hall, a research and innovation facility made possible by a $35m grant from TCS awarded in 2015.
The 48,000 square-foot facility, which will open in 2018 and be based on the CMU campus, will house research and academic spaces, as well as an eco-sustainable rain garden and a robot yard.
