Barracuda declined to disclose the exact size of the new fund but said it was in the tens of millions, according to an interview in BizJournals.

Barracuda Networks, a US-based computer security services provider, has started its corporate venturing unit and offered a $25,000 prize for a local hackathon.

Barracuda Ventures is also offering the Barracuda Startup Security Package for emails and websites at no cost to the top five finalists of the Launch Festival hackathon in San Francisco, California.
