Google's corporate venturing fund exited the app testing startup through an acquisition by its parent company.
Internet company Google has acquired US-based app testing platform Appurify for an undisclosed sum, providing an exit for its corporate venturing unit Google Ventures, TechCrunch has reported.
Google Ventures invested in Appurify’s $1.8m seed round in 2012 and its $4.5m series A round in May 2013.
Other investors in Appurify include venture fund Data Collective, investment firms Radar Partners, Foundation Capital, Inspovation Ventures and Felicis Ventures, investment network Webb Investment Network and private investors Abraham Elias, Jay Jamison and Raymond…
