Airline operator AirAsia’s digital unit, Redbeat Ventures, is seeking external limited partners for a dedicated fund that will invest in travel and lifestyle-focused startups worldwide, according to DealStreetAsia.
Aireen Omar, deputy CEO of digital, transformation and corporate services for AirAsia, told DealStreetAsia that AirAsia will anchor the fund, which could be known as RedBig Capital, but that it is seeking outside investors as limited partners.
