Samsung looks to acquire LED manufacturer Novaled for over $200m.

Smartphone manufacturer Samsung is looking to acquire organic light-emitting diode (OLED) manufacturer Novaled, a spin-out of the Technical University of Dresden, for over $200m, according to multiple news outlets. The Germany-based spin-out, founded in 2001, manufactures OLED technology and materials which are used in mobile phone displays, and holds many key patents for the technology.…
