Inflowmatix, a UK-based Imperial College London spinout focused on water flow analytics services for utilities, yesterday secured £2.8m ($3.4m) from Suez Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of water and waste treatment firm Suez Group. Inflowmatix markets a hydraulic analytics technology called InfraSense that enables water utilities to monitor the condition of their pipelines to prevent incidents and improve cost-effectiveness.
