Stitch, the developer of an assistance app for salespeople, raised $3.25m in seed funding last year from investors including Google Ventures.

Customer relationship management company SugarCRM has acquired Stitch, the US-based developer of a personalised digital assistant for salespeople , providing internet company Google with an exit, Fortune reported on Saturday.

Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Stitch is the creator of an app that integrates into the Google Apps email service and adds the ability to index all files and attachments and to track whether an email has been opened or a link has been clicked.
