Residential moving app developer Updater has followed a $2m seed round with $8m in series A funding from backers including Softbank.
Softbank Capital, a corporate venturing unit owned by Japan-based conglomerate Softbank, has invested in an $8m round raised by Updater, the US-based developer of an app that helps people move house, TechCrunch has reported. IA Ventures, Commerce Ventures and Second Century Ventures also participated in the round.
