The Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers joined Microsoft in backing an impact investment arm of venture capital fund TitletownTech.

US-based sports franchises the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers have backed an impact investment fund for minority-run startups.
The franchises committed to Equity League as “a new impact investment division of venture capital fund TitletownTech,” alongside software producer Microsoft.
Founded in 2017, TitletownTech is located across from Lambeau Field where the Packers play American football. Israel Squires (pictured) is director of Equity League, which will primarily back black and Latinx founders and hire minorities as venture fellows.
Squires said: “Our goal is to invest in companies and founders that have strong potential to produce both significant financial returns and large-scale social impact.”
