Mphoria, a US-based online sales service that matches products with people and backed by local phone operator Verizon Communications, has raised $1.5m in March, according to a regulatory filing. Although the regulatory filing did not say who the investors were in Mphoria’s first disclosed round, the company’s website showed venture capital firm Acta and Verizon as its investors.
