Australia-based telecoms company Telstra’s corporate venturing unit, has invested in IPscape, an Australia-based provider of contact centre applications.

The deal is worth less than $5m, according to news provider Financial Review. The deal was revealed as Telstra Global announced IPscape would power its Virtual Contact Centre solution as part of a strategic partnership.

The partnership followed an investment by Telstra’s Applications and Ventures Group in the company.
