Run, a US-based mobile-focused advertising management platform, has secured a $1.5m  investment from Verizon Ventures, the strategic investment arm of US broadband and telecommunications company Verizon Communications. The investment will be used to advance product development and hire more staff. Mark Smith, executive director of Verizon Ventures., said: “We at Verizon Ventures continually seek to invest in promising companies whose technologies complement Verizon’s networks, service platforms, and distribution channels.  This strategic investment is a testament to Run’s innovative progress.” Seth Hittman, chief executive officer of Run, said: “For advertisers that want to reach consumers across all channels and devices, you need to think mobile first. We have a lineup of new and innovative products that will launch this year and push the envelope in this always-evolving mobile space.”
