Rover, a US-based online marketplace connecting dog owners with local dog sitters backed by internet services provider AOL’s CrunchFund, has raised $7m in its series B round. Venture capital firm Foundry Group led the B round, and was joined by return backer and peer Madrona Venture Group. In April, Rover raised $3.4m in its A round from a consortium including Madrona and AOL’s CrunchFund.
