India-based electronics and home appliances conglomerate Videocon Industries is looking to sell a 25% share of Videocon D2H, its satellite television broadcast division, for between $75m and $100m, according to a report by news agency Reuters on Friday last week.

Reuters added that Videcon is currently in talks with private equity firms concerning the sale, and that India-based financial services firm ICICI Bank’s corporate venturing fund, ICICI Ventures is a potential investor.

The report also stated that Videocon had hired financial services firm UBS to find investors for the sale.
