TGW Logistics Group's new corporate venture fund Neil&Buzz will invest in European startups that are innovating in the logistics sector.

Markovic hired at Neil&Buzz

Jelena Markovic has been hired as managing director at Neil&Buzz, the newly formed corporate venture capital firm of Austrian automated warehouse systems integrator TGW Logistics Group.

Neil&Buzz will found and invest in European startups that are innovating the logistics sector, with a particular focus on early-stage investments. The firm has yet to make any investments.

Prior to this, Markovic was a principal for a year at Germany-based venture capital firm TecPier. She was also an investment manager for a year at LBBW Venture Capital, the corporate venture arm of commercial banking company Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.

She was also at BayWa’s corporate venture firm, BayWa r.e. Energy Ventures, for three years as a senior associate, associate and analyst.

“I’m looking forward to building a valuable CVC player for Europe’s logistics startup ecosystem, by providing venture investments and simultaneous access to one of the top intralogistics players,” said Markovic on LinkedIn. “Furthermore we’ll lead our own selected venture-building activities, where we’ll harness TGW’s enormous know-how and resources.”
