MyPermissions, an Israel-based application security provider, has raised $1m from a consortium including venture capital (VC) firm Lool Ventures, which has strategic backing from media group DLD.

Alongside Lool in the round were VC firms 500 Startups and Plus Ventures, angel network 2B Angels and individual investor Robby Hilkowitz.

Avichay Nissenbau, partner at Lool Ventures, said: “MyPermissions was born out of a deep concern for the privacy issues that arise from granting app permissions across the web and mobile.”
